"وسيم شجاع"، "مريم ذكية"، والكثير من الصفات (Adjectives) التي نستخدمها للمدح، وأحياناً نقوم بمدح الفعل نفسه فنقول: "لقد أحسنت الرد" أو "هذا القول حسن"، سنتعرف في هذا المقال على العديد من الصفات التي تستخدم للمدح وأمثلة على ذلك.
أولاً: صفات مدح للأشخاص
من الأمثلة على عبارات المدح للأشخاص في اللغة الإنجليزية ما يلي:
